5 Nice Ideas for Ice Cream‏

1. Make budget ice cream posh by leaving it to soften first then swirling in your favourite ingredients. Try chopped Maltesers, cruched cookies, chopped nuts, broken peanut brittle, melted and cooled cholote, soft fruit, toasted desiccated coconut or melted and cooled toffees–melt in a saucepan with a little milk.

2. Unroll a chocolate swiss roll and spread with softened chocolate ice cream. Roll up, cover and freeze.

3. Make sure small balls of ice cream with a melon baller, place on the end of a fork and dip in cooled, melted chocolate. Sprinkle with nuts and freeze on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Serve on cocktall sticks.

4. Slice the top off a blueberry muffin and hollow a hole from the centre. Fill with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with hot chocolate or fruit sauce. Replace the top.

5. For the kidsm sandwich ice cream between large soft and chewy cookies. Freeze until firm.
