The 2009 comedy is directed by Gary Winick, with Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Bryan Greenberg.
The movie tells a story about two best friends who get engaged in the same week and are preparing for their own perfect weddings. It is a really good movie as it has given an amusing look at the trials of friendship and love.
Of course that wedding is one of the most important moment in one’s life. It indicates a brand new beginning—an end of single days and a new life ahead to be shared with some one you love. It is natural that many people, especially many girls, want to have great celebration of this special moment. Many girls, like the two friends in the movie, have their long-held dream about weddings. There are huge amount of people who are looking to having an extravagant wedding. However, big weddings can exhaust one, and sometimes, all the trivialities annoy one so much that they distract one from understanding the true meaning of weddings. It is just a ceremony. It is a celebration of getting true love, not a huge exhibition of meaningless and useless luxuries and shows.
How important is the perfect wedding to people in love? Well, you’ll get some inspiration after viewing this film.
