Som Tum refers to the Thai style papaya salad. It is a classic Thai dish, commonly associated with the Isaan area but served all over Thailand.
As the papaya is often refered to as the Powerhouse Of Digestive Enzyme Nutrition, many people lived on a diet of Som Tum.
There are three typical different ways to prepare Somtum. It can be “Somtum Thai” which has peanuts mixed in, “Somtum Bu” with small pickled crabs pounded in, or “Somtum Lao sai pla ra” with the juice of pickled mudfish. The dish can be eaten as a snack as a salad.
The basic ingredients include finely shredded Thai green papaya, 1 tomato cut into wedges, roasted peanuts, dried shrimp, sugar, fish sauce, clove garlic, lemon juice and fresh chili pepper.
To prepare the dish, first of all, pound together chili and garlic until fine. Then, add papaya, tomato, sugar, fish sauce, lemon juice, peanuts and dried shrimp. Mixed all the ingredients together. Serve with sliced cabbage.

The romantic comedy was directed by Alek Keshishian, with Brittany Murphy, Matthew Rhys, Santiago Cabrera. It was released in 2006.
The plot is about a girl, who spent her childhood in America, now lives and works in London, at British Vogue, and her gay friend, who’s afraid to be disappointed by a serious relationship. Two of them share an apartment. As the movie develops, they come to realize their mistakes and eventually reach their happy endings.
Though the movie doesn’t offer any Hollywood top actor or actress, it still reached a great deal of popularity in terms of peers and comments.
“Maybe true love is a decision, a decision to take a chance with somebody. To give to somebody without worrying whether they’ll give anything back or if they’re gonna hurt you or if they really are the one.Maybe love isn’t something that happens to you. Maybe it’s something you have to choose.We should find out that true love is an event, not a process.” This is my favorite lines in the movie.

The 1998 cartoon produced by DreamWorks, was directed by Eric Darnell and Tim Johnson, with Woody Allen, Dan Aykroyd and Anne Bancroft.
It tells a story about a worker ant in a colony of millions, that doesn’t fit in and longs for a life that strays from his monotonous routine. The little ant is striving to reconcile his own individuality with the communal work-ethic of the ant colony. It struggles to get his love, defeat the evil general, and manage to find his own identity in the end.

The sixth China Sex Culture Festival was held in Guangzhou, which is China’s largest beneficiary of reform and opening-up and an economic powerhouse with about 30 million migrant workers, on November 9th, 2008. the event is held by Guangdong Provincial Society of Sexology and Guangdong Provincial Commission of Population and Birth Control.
This annual event, which began in 2003, was free for its first three years. Organizers of the event began charging entry fee in 2006, mainly in order to keep visitor numbers down and children out.
This year’s festival features activities ranging from talks on birth control. Exhibit includes condoms, sex toys, photographs on sexual health and eugenics, forums on sexology, quizzes as well as lingerie shows.
The object of holding the festival is to improve sexual knowledge and awareness of safe sex. Ahead of the festival, a series of lectures has been given by the sexologists to middle school and college students, and migrant workers.

Turok is a fictional American comic book character initially in comics from Western Publishing published through licensee Dell Comics. Then story about the war between two Indian Tribes and the visit to the under world, was made into a 70-minute annimation and first released in 2007, directed by Curt Geda and Dan Riba with Adam Beach, Irene Bedard and Adam G.
Unfortunately the animation looks like it came right out of a Saturday morning cartoon for 10 years ago. The movements are often stiff, and when people walk they seem to just glide over the background art, traveling either faster or slower than their moving legs would indicate. The character designs are rather lackluster, including the dinosaurs. The backgrounds in several scenes, especially the opening, one are very good though. Other times they just fill the background with clouds or simple colors which is too bad.
But for the comic lovers, it’s still a pretty good option of evening entertainment.
