Five-Spiced Beef Tendons Slice

Submitted by admin on Sunday, 31 May 2009No Comment

Stew beef tendons with turnips is a very nice Chinese food. To make this delicious dish, the basic ingredient include 400g Beef Tendons (washed), a turnip (washed, peeled and cut into pieces), giger slices, spring onion, some star anise, some , a spoon of soy source, a spoon of sugar, 2tbs olive oil, and 1/4 tea spoon five-spice powder.
Cook the beef tendons in pressure cooker for about 45 minutes until they turn very soft. Then cut the tendons into small pieces when they are cooler. Heat some olive oil over medium heat, and fry ginger and spring onion. Then add turnip pieces and fry them with other spices for about 2 minutes. Put the beef tendons in and cook it in soup for about 10 minutes. Last but not least, cook the dish over high heat until sauce is reduced.
Then the dish is ready to be served.
