Benders Game is a return to form for the Futurama writers.
Following ‘Futurama: Bender’s Big Score’ and ‘Futurama: Beast with a Billion Backs’, Benders Game is the third in the series of four feature-length DVDs movies that make up the show’s fifth season, released on November 4, 2008. It was directed by Dwayne Carey-Hill, starring Billy West, Katey Sagal and John Di Maggio.
Once again, the movie captures the blend of whip-smart satire, low-brow humor, and unbounded imagination. But when compared to the previous two Futurama movies, “Bender’s Game” is both the strangest and the most conventional.
