Happy 20th Birthday Wallace & Gromit!

Submitted by admin on Wednesday, 4 November 2009No Comment

Wallace and Gromit are the main characters in a animation series produced by Nick Park of Aardman Animations.
The series consist of four British animated short films: A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Gromit (1989), Wallace & Gromit in The Wrong Trousers (1993), Wallace and Gromit in A Close Shave (1995), and Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005); as well as a feature-length film. All the characters in the animation are made from moulded plasticine modelling clay on metal armatures, and filmed with stop motion clay animation.
Due to the popularity of the animation, the characters have been called positive international icons of modern British culture and of the British people.
Today, Wallace and Gromit have been given the opportunity to take over the Google logo to mark their 20th birthday, which is taken as an ultimate honour.
