The plot is adapting the story of the award-winning DC Comics miniseries DC: The New Frontier, which is written by Darwyn Cooke. It spins a tale of the DC Universe in the 1950s, when a new generation of superheroes, including the DC characters of Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and many more must join forces with the community’s active veterans and a hostile US government to fight a menace to Earth.
It’s highly recommended for superheroes comic-lovers. Some people even said that it’s the best DC animated project ever since Mask of the Phantasm!
