Mars Attacks

Submitted by admin on Friday, 13 February 2009No Comment

The 1996 comedy science fiction movie was directed by Tim Burton, with Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close and Annette Bening. It was produced and released by Warner Bros.
The plot is based on the popular card series Mars Attacks. It tells a story about the Earth invaded by Martians with irresistible weapons and a cruel sense of humor. The film combines the storyline and tone of a B-movie spoof with the budget of a blockbuster movie. It features an ensemble cast, and is highly dependent upon special effects.
Its producing cost reached $70 million, but the box office is considered as moderate.
