The Flip Side of Fundraising

Submitted by admin on Monday, 25 January 2010No Comment

The search is on for teams to take part in a pancake race in Bath.
An event dubbed Bath’s Flippin’ Pancake Race will be held on February 16, with the Frying Pan Trophy up for grabs.
The race was first staged last year and won by a team from the city’s Street Pastors group, who beat 15 others. This year’s event, sponsored again by Bath Building Society, will see teams of four compete in a relay-style pancake race in the city centre. The race will be held at the new SouthGate development and will raise funds for Dorothy House Hospice Care.
Teams pay a £25 entry fee to take part, with all proceeds going to the charity. Last year’s event raised more than £300 for Julian House.
The first race starts at 1pm.
