Walking Tall: Lone Justice (威震八方)

The Tripp Reed-directed action flick was directed by Tripp Reed, with Kevin Sorbo, Yvette Nipar and Haley Ramm. It was released in 2007.
The plot is about a newly retired small-town sheriff who retires to Dallas in order to help raise his girlfriend’s daughter. An evil drug dealer shatters his peaceful existence, forcing him to go back to work. So the reluctant hero gets violent again, in the name of wanting to protect his loved ones.
The violence between the good guy and the bad guys in the film is quite mindless with no tigh logic. As a result, the viewer can visit the washroom, return to his seat, gobble down his dessert, talk to his friend, glance at the television screen and still know what’s happening in the movie.
